How It Works

Three short steps: your details, who it's going to, then your letter. You'll see exactly how it looks before you pay.

  1. 1

    Write It

Add your address, who the letter is going to, and type your letter, formal or friendly, however you like. We put your address, the date and their address in the right places.

  2. 2

    Check It

See the finished letter before you pay, and go back to change anything you like.

  3. 3

    We Post It

Choose your postage and pay by card. We print your letter on 100gsm white A4 paper and post it by Royal Mail.

How to Write a Good Letter

Say Why You're Writing First

Put the point of your letter in the first line, for example "I am writing to ask for a refund for the washing machine I bought on 3 September."

Give the Facts in Order

Include dates, amounts, order or account numbers, and what has happened so far. Short paragraphs are easier to read.

Say What You Want, and By When

Be clear about what you'd like them to do, for example "Please reply within 14 days."

Keep It to One Page if You Can

Your first page is included in the price. Longer letters are fine, and each extra page is 25p.

Write It Your Way

Formal or friendly, it's your letter. Whatever you type is what gets printed.

Keep Proof

We email you a PDF copy of your letter. If you might need to show it arrived, choose Signed For or a tracked service.
